So I’m thinking of converting this top for Dina’s console outfit. I’ve played around with colours already - found a match by Pooklet but it’s really really bright. Might go for a darker, less in your face purple. I’ve also experimented with the green collar thingie - not sure if I like it. Maybe if I also refrain from using super bright green…maybe I can make two versions - one with the collar and one without.

As for shoes, it looks like I’ll be doing three versions. One with flats, one with Emma boots (Skell converted me to popping Dina into leopard print) and sandals.

And for those who are curious about the skirt, I’ll be using needlecream’s pleated skirt which can be found here.

I’m so excited! :D

I think somebody on MTS converted those, but with the wider waist bodyshape (personally I’d prefer one to match the original Maxis). I’m excited to see what you come up with!

I moved Nina out cause she wanted to.

I’ve often wondered about Nina’s “move out” want. It’s one of those built in wants that seems unrelated to gameplay (sims usually only get that one just after they age up to adult, if they didn’t go to college), so it seems more like a prompt for story direction.

Is it maybe because of Dina’s upcoming wedding to Mortimer? When combined with that family snapshot of her crying at Dina’s wedding to Michael (possibly tears of joy, but it really doesn’t look like it’s meant to be that to me), I’m given an impression of her not being happy with those relationships for one reason or another. Maybe she’s upset to be left on her own when they’ve always been a pair? Like many of these game details, there are so many ways you could interpret it.

I’ve also always thought it was odd that the game seems to want to guide you to have Nina move out and have Mortimer move in there, taking Dina’s surname. :P

I sort of figured it was the “fridge locker” version of crying at a wedding, since there’s not really any basegame animations for tears of joy, but it really could go either way. To me Nina seems like one of the less “obvious” characterizations in the game for what she’s “supposed” to be and do. (other than woohoo Don)

I always wonder who the hell beard man and blue dress lady are in that wedding picture.

How did you get all your sims in F&R to be younger? And in Olive's case, resurrect her (latest) dead husband?

I extracted most of the sims with Sim Pe and put them in a new hood, but de-aging and resurrecting can all be done with mods like insiminator, sim blender, and the sim manipulator or going into sim pe and changing the ages manually. You need to be careful about resurrecting sims though, because some of the Maxis ancestors are messed up. Meetme2theriver has a Strangetown and Pleasantview where the dead are fixed though: http://meetme2theriver.livejournal.com/81536.html

You can use the cheat stretchSkeleton [value](the default height for sims is 1), but in Ichabod’s case I used sim pe to make him permanently taller so I don’t have to enter the cheat all the time (you can find a tutorial on this here.) The catch is that certain animations will no longer line up properly, such as kissing.

Between the height difference, forehead impaling hat„ and other obstructive headgear choices, posing kisses for these two has been a bit of a challenge. This was a compromise which I thought turned out cuter anyway.

With me, the logs said that the lamp was trying to find the number of players to play poker. So you might be able to spot if anything like that looks awry in the error logs.

OMG, I’ve always wanted this outfit for Dina! XD To be honest I like the “Jersey Shore-ness” of it on her (I put her in high-heeled leopard boots half of the time; I don’t see her as being particularly demure.)

I agree that the shoes could be better. I would maybe do sandals since it looks like a summer outfit, but flats would be nice too.

I pronounce it “Dee-na” rhyming with Nina. I think the other name is usually spelled “Dinah”.
